We are proud to be one of the leading Domestic Violence Services delivering expert, specialist and independent domestic violence and abuse services in Wales. We know that our services can, and do, prevent abuse and help save lives.

We are looking for exceptional Board members, who shares our values, recognises the importance of operating with commercial acumen; and who understands the challenges that both the organisation and our service users face, in the context of cuts and economic factors in the external environment, that impact on third sector organisations. We are determined to make the most of the challenges and opportunities that may present themselves through innovation and continuous improvement to safeguard and develop our services.

We are seeking new board members who will bring the essential skills and experience required to support our CEO and help set and deliver our strategy for the future. As a Trustee you will be responsible for the Governance of the Charity, be required to attend our board meetings every 2 months, and dependant on your skill set chair or attend specialist sub groups to support the CEO and advise the wider board. If you feel that you have the skills, time and commitment to help lead Calan DVS and build on our success, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
