Membership and Marketing Manager

Responsible to: Assistant Director of Operations

Responsible for: Leading the Membership and Marketing team

Salary: WCVA Grade D: £30,785 increasing to £32,486 per annum following successful completion of a six- month probationary period

Base: Cardiff, Aberystwyth or Rhyl

Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays plus five discretionary days

Travel: Use of public transport is preferred; when this is not convenient staff may use their own vehicles or use the car rental system. Mileage rates are paid in accordance with recommended Inland Revenue rates.

Hours: 35 hours per week. A flexi time scheme is in operation and time off in lieu is permissible for any work required to be undertaken outside the normal hours.

Superannuation: The post will attract a maximum contribution of 9% of annual salary to an approved pension scheme.

Language skills: Demonstrated Fluency in the Welsh language is essential to this post.

Aim of the Post

This post will lead WCVA’s new Membership and Marketing team. The post will provide strong strategic leadership across our membership, marketing and communications work, ensuring delivery is supported by engaging learning and events programmes. The post will lead an internal culture change, putting members are at the heart of all our work.
