Our Organisation

The Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT) is the only community wealth building charity dedicated to regenerating Britain’s coalfield communities. For over 25 years, CRT has worked with communities and partners to create opportunities, strengthen community organisations and develop place-based solutions in former coalmining towns and villages.

The Role

CRT is seeking a Development Officer to deliver the Collaborative Community Ownership Support Service (C-COSS) in Wales. The post will support community organisations to acquire, manage and sustain community assets, with a focus on Community Asset Transfer, governance, sustainability and investment readiness.

The role will also help deliver programme activity, monitor progress, report on impact, build partnerships and share learning, best practice and resources across the sector.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience of supporting social enterprises, voluntary organisations or community groups, alongside strong partnership working, project or programme management, and experience helping groups access funding or investment.

You will understand regeneration issues affecting Welsh coalfield communities, communicate clearly, produce good reports and work confidently both independently and as part of a team.

Why Join CRT?

This is an opportunity to help protect and develop community assets and services across Wales’ coalfield communities, leaving a lasting legacy of support and best practice.
