Joining the UK’s leading sustainable transport charity you will be pivotal in supporting business development across Wales – helping to grow the range & scope of activity Sustrans can deliver to make walking & cycling easier. This exciting role involves writing funding submissions, identifying and pursuing funding opportunities and supporting key internal & external relationships.

With a good standard of education, you will have proven experience of securing income through grant applications, negotiated opportunities and tenders. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build a compelling business case; preparing robust project plans, presenting information in a clear and succinct manner, whilst working to deadlines and staying calm under pressure. Your familiarity with grant funding websites and funding sources, tied to your knowledge of Sustrans’ work / active travel in Wales, will fire your enthusiasm to learn more and develop your current business development skills and knowledge.
