Whizz-Kidz is a national charity working hard to transform the lives of young disabled people across the UK, supporting them to become confident and independent young adults.
With thanks to Big Lottery Funding through the People & Places grant, we are looking to recruit an Ambassador Club Coordinator to develop and lead a network of services in North Wales. Working as part of our national young people’s team, you will deliver community based Clubs and services, deliver our wheelchair and life skills training programmes, and facilitate work placements for young wheelchair users with a range of employers across the UK.
Whizz-Kidz in the Lead will support young people in Wales to become more engaged within their community, encouraging them to be confident and safe within their wheelchairs and improving independence and self-esteem. Personalised work skills training and work placements will allow young people to transition into adulthood and families will be supported along the way through parent’s networks and steering groups.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Services Delivery Manager with the coordination of six regional clubs in Wales and developing content and partnerships for delivery. You will have experience of writing risk assessments for youth based activities and working with families to agree content and structure for clubs and services.
