  • Summary

Do you feel passionately about supporting the needs of people with learning disabilities? Can you contribute to our organisation and make a real difference to people's lives?

    Job Role

We are a leading UK learning disability charity, currently supporting over 280 people in over 92 locations in England and Wales. Drawing on our Christian values, our aim is to enable the people we support to lead fulfilled lives.

As our diverse and dynamic organisation is expanding, we need experienced people who not only can complement our board of 12 trustees, but who can help us continue and improve the work we do. As a trustee, you will take a strategic overview of our activity and ensure our work is developing in line with our Annual Plan.

Ideally, you will have skills in at least one of these areas: involvement with people with learning disabilities, parent or relative of an individual with learning disabilities and experience in Social Care.

    Additional Information

We are an equal opportunities employer and would particularly welcome applicants from ethnic minority backgrounds and those with different faiths.
