These are exciting times at the National Trust as we work to broaden our appeal so that everyone feels like a member and by 2020 five million people will be. It is an ambitious vision but one we’re determined to realise. We look after special places for ever, for everyone, helping to provide the refreshment we all need in today’s fast-moving world.
To help us we need the best possible non-executives. We’re looking for external members to work with our appointments committees to provide an independent perspective and advice on good process. We welcome applications from people of all ages and backgrounds who have experience of senior non-executive appointments
