At African Mothers Foundation we bring communities in Britain and Sub-Saharan African together to work in partnership, to challenge gender disparity and to help end global poverty through educating girls and enabling them to become powerful agents of change within their families, communities and nations.
We would like an intern to research female issues and problems that affect these African communities’ e.g. poor literacy and numeracy, sexual abuse, sanitation. The information will be used in marketing campaigns and public talks to raise awareness of our work and build our reputation.
The internship will involve:
• Conducting research via websites, newsletters, specialist publications
• Collating information, statistics suitable for use in marketing materials, public talks, via the charity’s website and social media
