    Play Right are looking for an inspirational person to run their exciting and challenging adventure play project in Penlan.

    Play Right is the voluntary sector's Play Association for Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot, established in 1999. Play Right has developed many different services during this time which respond to the needs of local communities and play providers. Play Right promotes best practice and partnership working to improve play and leisure activities for all children and young people particularly those aged 5-15 years.

    Job Role

    Working with children and young people aged 5-15 years old, in a free and creative ‘open access’ environment that supports their development through play.

    You will need to be able to create an environment where children and young people are able to experience a range of ‘Play Types’ from face painting and dressing up to using hand tools to building dens, tree houses, rope swings and play structures.

    Applicants must have experience of working with children and young people from disadvantaged areas and have good communication skills to engage with parents and community members to deliver a service to meet local play needs.

    You will be required to work in outdoor play spaces engaging and playing with the elements of wind, rain, fire and earth

    Additional Information

    Play Sessions run during school holidays and after school during term time.

    All applicants will be subject to an enhanced criminal records check.
